About Me
I'm a second year mathematical physics student, so I know what its like to have to be out at KB all day and that that secion of the student body is often overlooked, something I'd like to redress.
Other than course stuff I'm a member of People and Planet, Indiesoc and Ed Uni Greens. I was involved in campaigning for the fair trade and environmental sustainability motions at the last two AGMs, as well as defending the Nestle ban. I've also had to deal with members of the University staff and accomodation services through the campaigning work I've done in the last two years, which will be a valuable experience for working with the union staff and the university. This year I coordinated people and planet's recycling campaign which gave me practice in organising events and coordinating with other groups.
This will be my first EUSA position, if I'm elected, but I think my experince and interest in union politics stand me in good stead to represent your opinions and improve our unions for everyone's benefit.
